It’s been a while since I’ve done an outdoor shoot! November 20th actually. This has it’s advantages. It has given me the opportunity to get comfortable with my new off camera flash (which I love!) and it’s much easier to not schedule around the weather. But a week (or so) ago we had some really fantastic light outside. Rather than fold the laundry which was piled high on my couch, I put Miss B down for a nap and headed to my backyard to capture some images of my boys. There is something rejuvenating and refreshing about sunlight. It warms my soul and gives me strength. Even if it was so cold my fingers were about to fall off.
These boys hold my heart. They are as different as a lion and a lamb. Yet they are best friends. Typically Sam is quiet. He prefers to speak with his eyes. It’s a fairly efficient mode of communication for him. His tenderness tugs at my mother’s soul. Josh brings humor and light to every situation. He makes me laugh and brings me joy. They compliment each other well.
On another note:
I was wondering if you would be interested in seeing some of my images before and after Photoshop?
