A Day With Amy Photography Workshop is heading to Hawaii on Saturday, August 6th. I’m drooling just thinking about it.
We’re in the thick of summer here in Kodiak, Alaska which means temperatures between 48* and 54* with a light drizzle or a strong downpour most days with cloud cover thick on the mountains. Oh, August and September will be beautiful I’m sure, they usually are. But right now I’m dreaming of gorgeous sunsets and warm sand between my toes… just me and my honey. I can hardly believe it’s been 18 years since I’ve been, and Jake and I have never been there together. It’s definitely time for a visit.
While we’re there I’ll be teaching the Day With Amy Photography Workshop. A full day of learning how to use your camera to capture images that tell your family’s story. We’ll cover the creative side of photography, lighting, composition, and capturing emotion. Then we’ll delve into all the buttons and dials on your camera and what they mean and how to use them! By the end of the day you’ll be ready to use your camera outside the world of AUTO and start capturing images the way you really see them!
Hawaii has to have some of the most beautiful photographic backdrops in the world (next to Alaska, of course) Take advantage of this class to learn how to use your camera to it’s best advantage, rather than continually using it as a point and shoot.
You’ll also receive a 50 page full color workbook with all the information we discuss during the class along with homework assignments to help your learning continue after the class (a $95 value).
I’m looking forward to meeting you! Click here for more information and to register for the class!
