Birdie | 5 weeks

BIG changes going on here at Simply b. The official reveal probably won’t happen till March, and that’s killing me! I just have to share just a small hint at what I’m working on.

Have you seen some of the videos I’ve posted recently? I’m switching my focus from posed studio sessions to focusing on capturing family connections and relationships through photography and videography. If you would like more details on having something like this done for your family, please email me at amy@simplybphotos.com.

That being said, let’s catch up on Birdie! There are so many little changes between birth and 5 weeks. I paid Miss Birdie a visit the other day to capture a few moments. She is about as precious as they come. Beware, she has a temper (which I’ve witnessed first hand… that girl has some lungs!) but she was nothing but pleasant for pictures. She wants to make sure the world sees her softer side.

Audrey - Her little hands held together and those deep eyes looking right through the camera in the first picture – ah! And the details in each one are just so precious.. I melt. Thank you for working through her tantrums to take these Amy. You’ve got the patience of a saint.

Amy - Oh….she’s BEAUTIFUL!!!!! My favorite is the first one, but I LOOOOVE them all!! What a thrill for me to see these. And so funny that the Baby Bird has a temper. Where, oh where, could she have ever acquired such a trait? I can’t wait to see what she pulls out of her sleeve in the years to come. This is gonna be PURE-T ENTERTAINMENT for me!!!!

Audrey - For a baby pterodactyl, she’s a pretty one. And she definitely has Dave’s eyes. Amy does a great job with her photography. Her pics remind me of those famous prints you see of babies among flowers, laying in giant flower petals and such. Don’t know the photographer/ artist’s name, but that’s what these remind me of.

Arthur - That last comment was from me, Audrey’s dad.
