Owl First Birthday Party | Fondant Flinger

I’m always tickled when Rachel of Fondant Flinger fame contacts me about capturing some images of her newest projects. She’s incredibly talented and creates the most delicious desserts. At Christmastime she brought our family the most perfect package of mini cupcakes. You would not even believe how adorable the package was, right down to the tiniest clothespin holding a little card! I didn’t even get a chance to get a picture because not only are her treats gorgeous, they are delicious too. And it should go without saying that the minute they were delivered, the ravenous animals I call children devoured them.

I knew that Rachel was planning an owl themed birthday for her son’s first birthday; her Pinterest feed was filled with all things owls.:)(Do you Pinterest? You can follow me here. And… if you see an image here you love, feel free to pin it!). I was SO looking forward to seeing what she was going to create. I got a sneak peak at the dessert table before all the guests arrived. I was not disappointed. I mean… WOW! (Rachel would be the first person to tell you she collaborated with several different companies in her design. I’ll be sure to get their information and link to them as well.)

What gets me every time I see her creations is her meticulous attention to details. Her vision encompasses not only the big picture but every teeny tiny detail. I’m trying to come up with a reason to have her design something like this for me! Miss B’s third birthday perhaps? Hmmmm. My wheels are turnin’! But for now, enjoy this fantastic table that Rachel put together.

Not only did she do the adorable dessert table, she also set up a fun little hot cocoa table! What a great idea.

Jana from J. Marie Designs made little Levi this onesie and birthday hat for his big day. So now even though the goodies are all gone, he’ll have this little memento to remember it by. I’m surrounded by talent!
