The other day I was sorting through thousands of images in preparation for teaching the new A Day with Amy: Photography Workshop | ONLINE. I compiled a few of my favorites and made a little storyboard. Just looking at them makes me happy. (You can see the images at the bottom of the post here.)
When my husband saw the images he gave me the best compliment ever. He said, “I’m so glad you became a photographer. I’m glad that you can record all these moments for us.” Me too. It’s been a blessing to learn how to use my camera to capture memories that we’ll treasure forever.
Today we’ve having another winter storm. I’m trying to enjoy it. It won’t be long before summer comes and it’s time for us to leave. We’re not going to have days like this in Florida, so we better enjoy the snow while we can. My boys (particularly Josh and Sam-a-lam) are nervous about winters with no snow. They’ve lived in Alaska all their lives and cannot imagine what it will be like.
I figured I better get out and snap some pictures before it’s too late and spring comes. (It may be wishful thinking, but I am really hoping spring is on it’s way!)
The boys let Miss B do the heavy lifting while they had a snowball fight.
