In August my family and I traveled to Puerto Rico to teach a free photography workshop and to do a couple photo sessions. It was an incredible experience. In between appointments, we swam in a bioluminescent bay, snorkeled in the ocean, jumped off waterfalls, shopped at the farmer’s market, toured the island, and caught up with good friends that we dearly missed! Sitting here on the bus in the cool fall weather of the Pacific Northwest, I have to admit that I miss the warmth and humidity of the Carribean! I’m eager for an excuse to return! Hopefully next year!
Dale and Jen warmly opened their home to us while we were there and played tour guide during our stay. This family is awesome! We are so blessed to have them in our lives. I keep asking them to join us on The Big Blue Bus Tour. THAT would be epic!
We did two different sessions with them. One in San Juan and the other at the graffiti museum near Aguadilla. Jen wanted a “Don’t Mess With Her” picture of her four boys with their little sister. It turned out better than I could have hoped. I would move to Puerto Rico just for the photography locations! I love all the images that came from our sessions! Thanks Jen for the opportunity to photograph your family and allowing us to hang with you! It was an experience we’ll never forget!
If you love the pics, PIN them! (A pin link is at the bottom of the post.)
Interested in having your family pictures taken? Check out our tour schedule! We’re touring the Pacific Coast the rest of this year! I’d love to meet you and have the opportunity to photograph your family!
