*Miss B with her friend Sam. We lived with Sam’s family for a week in Houston.
*Sam-a-lam and his friend Tessa. Sam’s family is her family too.
A couple things:
#1. After we’ve been on the bus for a while, all I want is a break. Somewhere with a bedroom door and a private bathroom.
#2. Anytime we get back on the bus after being off for a bit (like at Thanksgiving and Christmas), I feel like I’ve just come home.
#3. I really like Texas. Always have.
Glad we cleared that up.
I wrote an entire post this morning that I didn’t publish. It was all about our plan and Jake’s job and trusting The Lord. I spent over an hour writing it, but when it came time to publish it, I couldn’t press the button. I felt a too vulnerable laying everything out in black and white. So instead I sat on it all day.
I spent a good portion of my day thinking about vulnerability, and our plan, and Jake’s job, and trusting The Lord. Now it’s 11:26pm and here I am.
I wrote a post on that topic almost 3 months ago. I laid it all out, just like I did this morning. Interestingly enough, it’s the same story. We are still waiting and there is still unknown. And we are still in the arena.
And while we are in the arena, we are having the most wonderful time and meeting the most incredible people, old friends and new. As we ride along, the Lord continues to shower His grace upon us. At every turn we are lifted up. I am immensely grateful.
